After some misunderstandings and snafus (I still don't know my mac as well as I would think) I hereby present Hockey pool week 7 and week 8!
(As is obvious with the slope I lost momentum for week 7) but more importantly the winner was Gerty-Z with a whooping 40 points! WOW! The rest of us lined up as follows; Ricardipus, Cath, Lavaland, Bob, TomJoe, SM and me as a last place holder....
Week 8, ended yesterday and ScientistMother stands as winner with 35 points!! Congrats! The rest of us lined up as followed; Lavaland, Cath, Gerty, Riciadipus, me, Bob and Tom as the last place holder for the week...
Now, I have to go and cry in the corner since I forgot to change my picks for this week and therefore probably will have some less points again.... darn!

No worries. I was just surprised that I offered to do it then totally forgot about it.... FAIL ^^
Anyhoo.... I missed my new picks so I'm probably in the bottom next week too - like the blasted football pool. I sort of hoped that the saying "bad luck gambling, means lucky in love" but it might not be as easy as that... who would've thought?! duh.

I don't like Numbers on the Mac as much as Excel. It's the only programme where I can say that!
I've been doing OK, middle of the pack, but I just can't ever seem to choose the right goalie. Given that they can earn you four points in one game if they get a shut-out, that's a major failing! But the one who did best in the previous week always crashes and burns when I pick him. Booooo.
See?!?! Cath made me brag, I bragged, and now I'm tanking. I knew this would happen (believe I said as much).
*hrmph* now it's going to take me forever to get my mojo back.

cath>numbers is quite messy imho. Or maybe just too similar to excel but not?! I can work with other programs easily but that one messes up with me lots of times. Guess I might need to really sit down and work through it?!

P.S. Cath - there's an obvious goalie pick this week. Good goalie vs. REALLY BAD team. I'm just sayin'.
I've gone with Turco. Given that my pick is the goalie kiss of death, I may as well jinx f$%#ing Chicago as anyone.

nope. I'm so not going with chicago. Although I have to admit, I've deviated a bit from the "all swede/leafs/canucks" dogma that I started out with (something to do with "wanting to gain some points maybe" ;)
