Congratulations Bob for being the winner of Week 2 (and also being the current overall leader)!
Here are the results*
*Maybe this type of graph would be easier to see for the first few weeks at least? I've sorted it so the most points are to the left, and the ones with the least points (over all) are in the right....

Yes, well done Bob and Thomas, blah blah blah :)
Thanks for the update Chall! I like that different people will use different kinds of graphs, and maybe a consensus will emerge over the course of the season!
I made a few changes to my team for the upcoming week. I missed the cut-off last week (you have to have all your picks made before the first Monday game(s) start each week, but because of the holiday (Thanksgiving in Canada and Columbus Day in the US), that was much earlier than the usual 4pm PST cut-off). I had to ditch Miller as my goalie - great, great goalie who almost won his team the Olympic gold, but the defense in front of him don't seem to be up to scratch right now :)
last week was a bad week, or so I thought. I kicked some ASS!!! WhoopWHoop.
now if I can keep it up that is the Q...
DAMN! I'm clearly having some issues with my hockey picking skillz :-( Perhaps I shall re-evaluate my methods.
Yeah, right Cath. Just remember that you can't use that excuse again.
BTW, I could host the trash talk at This Scientific Life some time, once we've got it re-decorated. It'll be more fun that John Davison, who's camping there at the moment.
Thanks Bob - that would be great! And you can show the rest of us how statisticians display pool data.
I think ScientistMother is up next week, but maybe you could host the week after that (November 1st)?
All: you're all so cute ;)
I'm keeping in the "third from the end".... coincidental like I have in the NFL league... clearly, sports and betting is not my forte?! ^^
I keep remembering what Cath said earlier "it's not a sprint, it's a marathon" .. maybe if I am lucky there will be some extra kilometers later on too :)
Hm, maybe I should pay attention to the picks and how they're doing.
Cath - you shoulda picked Giguere. Just sayin'.
Ricardipus> I'd pay more attention to How many games they're scheduled to play.... and maybe that big fat red cross (yes, just changed on of my picks since he is injured... and someone in here need to pay attention to the number of games next week, just saying ;) )
Ricardipus, your pick has certainly been a better one than I initially thought.
So far.
Chall, yeah, I noticed that interesting schedule last night - some major changes will be made before Monday!
Cath> yes, I was referring a bit to you ;) had to change some of mine too...
Hm, clearly you lot are thinking about this a lot more than I am. Check the schedule? Egad. I have enough trouble keeping up with what *I'm* doing, let alone the entire NHL...
well R, clearly I seem to know nothing even if I did check the schdule. I'm dead last.
and yes, I am bitter. Couldn't the NHL gods be kind to me once? (and I'm sucking at NFL too... Hate this)
*off sulking on a Sunday*
Well, when the team from which you've drawn three of your players only has one game in a ten day period, it pays to notice the schedule!
